Fathers and Sons (and Daughters)

To my Dad:
Thanks, too late to let you know.
Know that I understand now
and those traits you've passed on to me,
they've stood me well.

To my son:
Happy First Father's Day!!!!!!!

To my little grandsons:
Be who you are -- and pass on the love,
if and when you get to be fathers someday.

To all fathers everywhere, past, present, soon-to-be and future ones; stepdads, adoptive fathers, foster fathers and temporary fathers:
