What if you were
handless
feetless
mouthless
be-less
feigning artness ...
just you and some fat tree limb
(which thinks it's a distant mountain),
the page itself
struggling to
align ...
Would Mr Doob say you had
harmony?

Annie, I love it. Not only that, it would make a perfect cover for one of Bob and Susan’s Longhouse productions. And the poem is just right (in its parenthetical glory).
Er ... I'm not so sure about that William. :) It's an extremely rough rendition of what started out to be a birch tree (and Longhouse covers are perfect without illustration). Plus Harmony drawing at Mr. Doob's takes patience (and getting the hang of drawing with a mouse instead of a pen) and he doesn't provide an eraser to correct mistakes. Hence you never know what you'll end up with! But it's the funnest kind of doodling I know. Hey thanks for popping in.
